Overview of Required Equipment
WXA-50/WXC-50: These are MusicCast signal adapters by Yamaha. The Yamaha WXA-50 supports additional speaker connections, while the Yamaha WXC-50 does not.
Steps to Connect Disklavier to Alexa
Physical Wire Connections
Ensure all devices are plugged in and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
a. WXA-50 Connection
Connect from the OUTPUT on the Disklavier to the AUX input on the WXA-50.
Additional speakers can be connected to the WXA-50.
Disklavier's mounted speakers can also play sound from the WXA-50.
b. WXC-50 Connection
Connect from the OMNI OUT on the Disklavier to the AUX input on the WXC-50.
No additional speakers can be connected to the WXC-50.
MusicCast Controller App Settings

Rename the AUX input to reflect its function (e.g., "Disklavier - Backing" or "Disklavier - Digital").
Adjust the input icon and position for easy recognition.
Input Trim
Adjust the input trim to 6.0 dB for the AUX input in Advanced Settings.

Ensure "Auto OFF MODE" is disabled on the switchbox.
