This one is quite popular! It's the best grand piano light that I've come across as a piano tuner.
When I got my first piano lamp as a kid, the whole experience of sitting at the piano for me had changed. Under the lamp, the piano became a destination instead of a zone for furniture that took up space.
This particular lamp makes you feel like a more sophisticated version of yourself when sitting down to tickle the ivories. In fact, it's tailored to grand pianos with better design than the piano lamps I owned as a kid.
The right Piano lamp is essential for sustained practice sessions for any piano player. The subtle warmth of the lamp is a nice touch and a feeling I've grown to appreciate.

This stunningly elegant, high quality, and sophisticated appearance must be why I frequently see this lamp on the highest quality grand pianos I tune.
It's easy to remove and replace the music shelf perfectly to it's previous position because it's effortless!
I've never had any problems working around these particular lamps as a piano tuner myself, and I think they are quite fitting for any grand piano.
Clamp the light to the Music Shelf
The lamp is equipped with a soft cushion to clamp to the music shelf holding it firmly in place.
This cushioned clamp protects the delicate finish from marks, scratches, or damage from years of use.
Once it's fixed to the proper position, you won't have to reposition anything.

Will the piano tuner need to remove the piano light?
All wires are easily detached/unplugged and the lamp will forever move as one piece with the music shelf.
The wires to power this lamp are specifically designed so that piano tuners can easily disconnect the cables from the music shelf for removal during the seasonal tuning of the piano.
Do piano lamps generate heat to disturb the piano?
Yes, piano lamps can generate enough heat to disturb the tuning. This is a simple reality unless you go with a florescent piano lamp lightbulb that isn't as easy-on-the-eyes.
In order to prevent ill-effects of the warmth from the lightbulb, the first step is to monitor your temperature and humidity.
Beyond monitoring temperature and humidity in your environment, implement a humidifier or dehumidifier depending on what the hygrometer indicates.
Included above is advice I have about these 3 topics.
Piano Light
In darkness, this piano light imbues a subtle feeling of inspiration that will permeate each practice routine.
Shedding plenty of light, time spent at the piano becomes a delicate and powerful habitual cue for getting back to the piano bench for practice.
*In general, be sure you select the proper type of lamp depending on the piano you have (upright vs. grand).
