AA and AAA Batteries: Be Prepared for Any Tech Issue

AA Batteries

Here I have some AA and AAA batteries that I keep on hand just in case.

Now, I carry these around as a piano technician because I may occasionally use them during the troubleshooting process.

Primarily, remote controls for player pianos, silent pianos etc. rely on both AA or AAA batteries and may be the issue.

Even TV remotes could end up being the culprit depending on if I'm trying to connect a piano to the TV!

So, since batteries can be particularly useful for remote controls, it's ALWAYS worth it to have a few with you on hand. This way it's possible to determine whether or not it's the remote control that needs a new set of batteries.

Again, I would carry both the AAA and AA battery pack just so that you have plenty of options to work with.

The day you don't have these batteries, is the day you waste 20-30 minutes searching for that extra last battery you need to charge the device.

Duracell AA and AAA Batteries

Carrying these batteries has helped me at about a half dozen client appointments so that I didn't have to schedule any other additional appointments.

I can't recommend enough a pair of Duracell Batteries to keep with you for piano tech troubleshooting appointments just in case it's not the piano that's the issue; it may just be a remote control power issue.
