Levoit Superior 6000s Humidifier Review: Piano Humidity Control
This is my Levoit Superior 6000s Humidifier that's ideal for use in a piano room to properly humidify a musical instruments.
This humidifier stands out by being completely silent. In fact, this humidifier is both silent and effective, which is surprising because it's often difficult to find a proper humidifier.
At about 30 seconds in the video you can witness how silent the "sleep mode" operates on the humidifier, which is preferred if you're to keep a humidifier in a music room. (The humidifier must keep quiet!)
Ofcourse, if I need to rapidly humidify the room I can turn the fan on full blast to bump up the humidity to the proper levels in less than 5-10 minutes!
There are also automatic settings that will keep the room at a relative humidity level that I am able to "pre-set," without having to keep track of it.
Once the system is all set to my specification I'll turn off the display so it doesn't radiate any annoying LED lights from the light up display menu. Turning the display back on is as easy as a touch of a button.
The Levoit Superior 6000s humidifier is capable of going up to 80% relative humidity! I don't recommend going higher than 50%, but if you'd like to, the option is available.
Typically, once I have the Levoit humidifier reach 50% I'll put it into "sleep mode" or "Automatic" mode which will hold the room at 50% or slightly above when in "sleep mode."
This humidifier has an extra large tank! It can be filled with 6 gallons of water per refill! This means less refills, reliable humidity, and better enjoyment.
Below, you can see that I've filled it to the halfway mark. Thankfully, it's easy to check how high the water is so that I can better keep track of refilling.
Also below, is the area where you'll refill the bucket with the hose. It's easy to liftoff the main (lightweight) cover to do any maintenance necessary.
